Aurora Sewage Pumping Station, The Regional Municipality of York

Upgrades including new 3750/4200 kVA, 44000;600/347 V transformers, MCCs, VFD’s, soft starters, control panels, 5.5 tonne crane, actuated ball and gate valves up to 600mm diameter, stainless steel piping and six 400 L/s dry pit submersible sewage pumps providing the station with a firm capacity 1820 L/s.

This project was awarded the Ontario Public Works Association (OPWA) 2016 ‘Public works Project of the Year Award’ (Environment $10-$50 million category)
